Automatic carrier selection, per shipment
For every booking iCargos resolves the carrier in a defined order — so the right courier is chosen without anyone thinking about it.
Explicit choice. If the merchant or admin picked a carrier, that wins.
Per-merchant allow-list. Otherwise the account's permitted carriers are considered, in global priority order.
City-wise priority. A per-destination carrier preference is applied — over 600 city rules are configured on the live platform.
Global priority order. The first carrier with both a city mapping and a service mapping for that route is selected.
A carrier only qualifies when it has both a city mapping and a service mapping for the route — so routing is deterministic, never guesswork.
Unified, normalised tracking
Every carrier speaks a different status language. iCargos translates them into one.
One status vocabulary
Carrier statuses are mapped into a single iCargos vocabulary, so "booked", "in transit", "delivered" and "returned" mean the same thing no matter who carried the parcel.
Polling + webhooks
Updates arrive by scheduled polling of the carriers and by carrier webhooks, then are normalised and written back against the shipment.
One tracking page
Merchants and recipients track every parcel in one place, in one consistent status history — regardless of the underlying carrier.
