Local & Last-Mile Delivery

Manage Every Delivery, From Dispatch to Doorstep

Local delivery management software takes each parcel through its full journey — assigned to a rider, out for delivery, and marked delivered with proof, or routed cleanly into re-attempt and return when a drop fails. iCargos gives riders a mobile app for the field and gives the office one clear status on every shipment.

One clear status on every parcel

Every shipment moves along a defined lifecycle, and each status carries a plain-English meaning your team and your customers can read the same way.

When a drop doesn't land, the parcel follows a proper return path instead of going silent:

Dispatch to riders, worked from a mobile app

Deliveries land on the rider's phone, ordered so the day makes sense — and updated back to the office as the rider works.

Assigned deliveries in hand

Each rider logs in to see their assigned pickups and deliveries, with jobs ordered by GPS nearest-first so the route builds itself.

Grouped runs

Jobs are grouped into runs the rider can work through in order, rather than a flat, unsorted list of stops.

Scan & bulk-update

Riders scan parcels and bulk-update status from the app, so the office sees movement without anyone re-keying it.

Message the customer

The rider can send the recipient an SMS from the app to confirm arrival or arrange the drop.

Proof of delivery, captured at the door

A delivery isn't just marked done — it's evidenced, so a dispute has an answer.

Signature & receiver. The rider captures the recipient's signature and receiver name at the point of handover.
ID on record. Where you need it, the rider records the receiver's CNIC number and a CNIC photo alongside the signature.
COD collected. Cash-on-delivery is collected and credited to the rider's running cash balance; hand-ins are then reconciled in the back office.
Signature shown on tracking. Once delivered, the signature image appears on the public tracking page for the shipment — proof the recipient and merchant can both see.

Recipients can track without an account

Fewer "where is my parcel?" calls, because anyone with the tracking number can check for themselves.

No login required

Recipients open the public tracking page and enter the tracking number — up to ten at a time, comma-separated.

Live tracking history

They see shipper and consignee details and a dated status history, with the delivery signature shown once the parcel is delivered.

Save for future use

Recipients can register to save and re-track parcels, so repeat customers keep their history in one place.

Frequently asked questions

What does local delivery management cover in iCargos?
It covers the full delivery lifecycle of a parcel — from assignment to a rider and "Out for Delivery" through to "Delivered" with proof, plus the re-attempt and return path when a drop fails. Riders work from a mobile app; the office tracks one clear status on every shipment.
How are deliveries assigned to riders?
Assigned pickups and deliveries appear in the rider's app, ordered GPS nearest-first and grouped into runs. Riders scan parcels and bulk-update status from the app, so the office sees progress without re-keying anything.
How is proof of delivery captured?
At the door the rider captures the recipient's signature and name, and — where required — the receiver's CNIC number and a CNIC photo. Cash-on-delivery is collected and credited to the rider's cash balance, then reconciled by the back office. The signature image is shown on the public tracking page once delivered.
What happens when a delivery fails?
The parcel moves onto a defined return path rather than going silent: Delivery Unsuccessful or Re-attempt, then Shipper Advice while the merchant decides, and on into Return In Process and Returned to Shipper. Each step has a plain-English meaning you can relay to the customer.
Can recipients track their own parcels?
Yes. The public tracking page needs no login — a recipient enters the tracking number (up to ten at once) and sees the shipment details, a dated status history, and the delivery signature once the parcel has been delivered.
