Every rider cash deposit becomes a correct entry — automatically
This is the part that usually leaks money in a courier business. In iCargos it books itself.
COD collected in the field. The rider collects cash on delivery, credited to their running cash balance as they go.
Cash Deposit Form. When the rider hands cash in, the office records it on the Cash Deposit Form against that rider.
Booked as a Receipt Voucher. The deposit posts automatically as a double-entry Receipt Voucher — no bookkeeper keying it, and it cannot double-post.
Reconciled from one report. The Rider Wallet Report gives the office a single place to see each rider's collected-versus-deposited position.
Reconciliation is done from the back office — the Cash Deposit Form and Rider Wallet Report are the source of truth for a rider's cash, so hand-ins are always checked against the ledger, not a rider's word.

How do I assign parcels to a rider?
Two ways, both built around scanning: the Scan Sheet (scan consignments with a barcode gun, pick the rider, print) and Generate Load Sheet (select a rider, tick orders, submit). Either produces a printable assignment sheet and pushes the jobs to the rider's app.
How is a rider's collected cash reconciled?
From the back office. Cash the rider hands in is recorded on the Cash Deposit Form, which posts automatically as a double-entry Receipt Voucher, and the Rider Wallet Report gives the office a single view to reconcile collected against deposited. The cash source of truth is the office ledger, not an in-app rider statement.
Do cash deposits and commissions need manual accounting?
No. A rider's cash deposit books itself as a Receipt Voucher and a commission payment as a Payment Voucher, each a correct double-entry mapped to the right control account — with no bookkeeper re-keying it, and they cannot double-post.
Can supervisors see which riders are loaded?
Yes. The dashboard shows Total Riders and a Delivery Assignment view, so a supervisor can see who is currently carrying parcels and who is available for the next run.
Can a rider see their own cash statement in the app?
A rider can see their running cash balance in the app. The itemised, reconcilable cash statement lives in the back office — the Cash Deposit Form and Rider Wallet Report — which is where hand-ins are checked and reconciled.
