CXT Software is a capable dispatch platform — but its published pricing starts at $600/month, which prices out most small and mid-size courier companies. If you need dispatch, tracking, ePOD software, white-labeling and API access without enterprise-tier pricing, iCargos delivers all of that from €12/month — plus three capabilities CXT does not offer: courier-native accounting, COD settlement and multi-carrier aggregation.
This page compares CXT Software and iCargos feature by feature, so you can decide which platform fits your courier operation.
Why pricing matters for small courier companies. CXT Software's published pricing starts at $600/month. For a ten-person courier operation processing 500 shipments a month, that is $7,200 a year on software alone — before setup fees or professional services.
iCargos starts at €12/month for up to 150 orders on the multi-branch plan, scaling to €199/month for 6,500 orders. A single-branch annual option is available at €349.99/year for up to 3,000 monthly orders. Full tiers are on pricing plans.
| CXT Software | iCargos multi-branch | |
|---|---|---|
| Published starting price | $600/mo | €12/mo (150 orders) |
| 500 orders/mo | Not tiered by volume | €19/mo |
| 1,000 orders/mo | Not tiered by volume | €35/mo |
| 2,000 orders/mo | Not tiered by volume | €59/mo |
| 4,000 orders/mo | Not tiered by volume | €109/mo |
| 6,500 orders/mo | Not tiered by volume | €199/mo |
| Above 5,000 orders/mo | — | €0.03 per order |
| Annual option | Not published | €349.99/yr (single branch, to 3,000 orders) |
| Setup fee | Not published | €299 one-time |
CXT figures from CXT Software's published pricing page, checked 22 September 2026; CXT publishes a starting price rather than per-volume tiers. iCargos figures from icargos.com/pricing-plans. Prices are shown in each vendor's published currency and are not FX-converted.
On published entry pricing, iCargos is roughly an order of magnitude below CXT's starting point — and it stays materially lower at the top of our tiers, where 6,500 orders a month costs €199. Because CXT publishes a floor rather than volume tiers, your actual CXT quote may be higher depending on scope.
Neither platform offers a free trial. iCargos gives you a free demo and a live session so you can see the platform before committing.

CXT column reflects capabilities published on CXT Software's own website as of 22 September 2026. "Not published" means we found no public documentation of the feature — not that it cannot be built.
If your courier company specialises in medical, lab or pharmacy deliveries and needs chain-of-custody compliance, CXT's vertical focus may well justify the higher price. We would rather tell you that than win the wrong customer.
iCargos includes three capabilities that CXT Software does not publish at any tier.
1. Courier-native double-entry accounting. CXT publishes no accounting module, so a CXT deployment needs a separate accounting system and manual re-keying to reconcile the books. iCargos has a built-in double-entry ledger where courier operations post themselves: a rider's cash deposit becomes a receipt voucher, COD clearance a journal voucher, a merchant payout a payment voucher. Every posting is keyed to its source document, so a retry or double-click physically cannot double-post. In the live system, 99.6% of accounting vouchers were generated automatically, with no manual entry. It ships with a three-level chart of accounts, per-merchant sub-ledgers, bank and mobile-wallet accounts, nine financial reports with branded print, and courier-specific KPIs — COD Float, COD Payable to Merchants, Vendor/3PL Payable and Tax Payable. See courier accounting software.
2. COD collection and settlement. Cash on delivery is the dominant payment method across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa and much of South-East Asia. CXT was built for prepaid Western markets and publishes no COD settlement features. iCargos handles COD end to end: collection tracked per rider, consignment-level settlement invoices, and automatic reconciliation through the accounting ledger, with every posting balanced to the cent. See COD settlement & invoicing.
3. Multi-carrier aggregation. CXT operates as a single-carrier dispatch system, so a courier using several third-party carriers for last-mile delivery needs a separate integration for each. iCargos gives you one integration that reaches multiple carriers — Leopards, TCS, Trax, M&P, BlueEX, DEX and more, 8 active carriers plus 6 sub-carriers via the aggregator — with automatic carrier selection per destination city, unified tracking across all of them and a single API for every operation. See 3PL carrier integrations.
In 2026, CXT Software acquired e-Courier, another enterprise courier dispatch platform. When enterprise software companies consolidate, the pattern is fairly predictable: fewer choices, upward pricing pressure, and less attention paid to small accounts.
If you are currently evaluating CXT or e-Courier, that consolidation is worth factoring into the decision. It typically leads to product roadmaps weighted toward large accounts, support resources shifting toward enterprise contracts, and less competitive pricing as the field narrows.
We wrote a fuller analysis of what the deal means for small courier companies: CXT acquires e-Courier: what small couriers should know. For a side-by-side of the two platforms in long form, see our iCargos vs CXT Software comparison.
The honest version: these platforms are built for different courier companies.
For context, here is what sits inside the entry plan — before any add-on modules.
Add the accounting ERP module for courier-native double-entry accounting, or the Growth module for merchant retention automation over WhatsApp and email. The wider platform is covered on courier management software.
